We are very pleased (and rather excited!) to share the following news of the Black Horse (re) Opening Day from Colin and Amanda:
We’ve had a few old building issues which have held us up, but we’re back on track and are pleased to announce that…
The Black Horse will be opening on Saturday 19th May!
Hours of opening that weekend will be:
Saturday 10am-11pm (Bar midday – 11pm)
Sunday 11am-7pm (Bar midday – 7pm)
Coffee, tea, cakes and savouries will be available all day throughout the weekend. Brunch will be available from 11am-3pm, lunch from 12 noon-2.30pm and the kitchen will be open for evening meals from 6 ‘til 8pm on Saturday.
We trust that our range of draught and bottled beers will include something for everyone, including Birra Moretti, Fosters, Adnams Southwold Bitter and Black Shore Stout, plus a local ale and bottled ciders. Expect a small range of carefully chosen wines and some top-notch spirits and soft drinks to ease you through the weekend!
Later that week we will be open:
Wednesday: 10am- 4pm 6pm-9pm
Thursday: 10am – 4pm 6pm-9pm
For the May Bank Holiday we will be having a ‘Sausage & Beer’ weekend, hours as follows:
Saturday 26th May – 10am-11pm
Sunday 27th May – 11am – 10pm
Monday 28th May – 11am-10pm
There will be all things to celebrate the humble sausage – brunch, lunch, snacks and early evening meals, plus of course vegetarian options (which may or may not look like sausage). We’ll also have a selection of sweet treats, teas, coffees and soft drinks. Food will be available all day on those three days until 8pm.
Do come along and visit The Black Horse, it may not be quite as you remember it.
We really look forward to seeing you and can guarantee you all a warm welcome!
See the Dry Drayton June newsletter for our regular Summer opening hours (much more straight-forward than those of May!)
